The Self-Talk

People tend to take what they need. And that’s okay. You too will take what you need at some point. You’ve possibly already done it. Sometimes on a subconscious level; we don’t even realize how we are almost setting the stage of what’s next -as if there’s a deep need within us, driving our choices.

On a different side of the spectrum, we are aware of our shortcomings, conscious of the opportunities that arise the moment we notice them. We aren’t flawless, but we aren’t flawfull either. We know, in a gut level, that there’s a space within us for all that we offer and all we receive, and they flow harmoniously together. We can see it as sacrifice or it could be seen as trade; but it’s only fair it doesn’t turn to be all-consuming.

From idea to action to pattern, the only constant is repetition of thought –and repetition is the mother of learning. Self-talk then, be it self-doubt or self-trust, establishes our sense of reality; to think how out of line we might be through the slight distortion of any current event, is humbling to me. We’ve been honored with a powerful tool, which we developed into a weapon that we stubbornly avoid rearranging.

As I am sure you have already heard:
to team up with oneself is crucial in enjoying one’s life.
