The Voice
My dearest Global
citizen,
This is a
voice from across the border, southern Europe to be exact. Don’t mind me, I’m
just one person ‘examining’ both your legacy of Utopian Thinking and its descent
into The American Dream: Hollywood style.
My voice
comes from a country where career politicians occupy space as well. Not unlike
Medieval Kings and Lords, no matter where you look at on a map, it’s either
families ruling the system or personas controlling our opinions of it.
Whatever the
political background, the term oligarchy feels descriptive to all. It’s a kind
of management that divides attention: it’s either the fear of not conforming or
the dread of proceeding with it. But what if the future seems dim, only when we
turn a blind eye?
How can the
sun show us the way with minds full of chemtrails that create clouds of
confusion? How can earth be appreciated as Planet Home while its shape is worth
fighting for? How can neighborhood peace be enjoyed while war is universally
accepted?
This is
also a voice from outer space; I mean, I see your sun... but to me it’s a star.
Don’t mind me, I’m an alien ‘experimenting’ on both your vision of Equal Rights
and its protest driven by televised transmissions of Privilege Threats.
My voice
comes from a planet where colonial disputes occupy time as well. Not unlike your
Ancient Empires and Kingdoms, no matter where you look at in the galaxy, it’s
either us or them.
Whatever
the racial background, the term division feels descriptive to all. It’s a kind
of leadership that denounces common ground: it’s either the fear of being the
target of a terrorist attack or the dread of being the military force behind
it. But what if peacemakers seem passive, only when we promote aggression?
How can
darkness ever feel safe while illumination is praised as security? How can the spirit
be noticed while the eye is on body types? How can the present moment be truly experienced
while we disrespect the union of time and space?
This is a
voice from outside your comfort zone, no threat, but still unfamiliar. Don’t
mind me, I’m a random thought ‘testing’ both your response and its silence.
My voice
comes in peace, in the sense that it’s meant as a piece of advice. Open that
blind eye. Promote peace. Become aware of participating in the reality that
will soon be history.
Whatever
the spiritual background, the terms ‘here & now’ feel descriptive to all.
It’s the kind of authority that provides a space and time for breathing: is it,
either fear or dread? Or is it trust and we think otherwise only when we fight the
truth?
How can the
need for true contact be satisfied while we refuse to unplug before we connect?
To us. To them. To life on Planet Home.
This is a
voice from within that will turn silent now.
My voice
comes as a call.
Faithfully,
I Hope That You Answer It
