The Meditation

No problem that many speak about meditation, just that most speak of its result as if it's the process. My goal here isn't to define the word, but to approach its essence, by ways of deduction.

So, when you hear about lack of thoughts, remember that if clarity is the goal, the true way to conquer it is by allowing all your thoughts to exist simultaneously, without any of them blurring the bigger picture. What matters then is not how many ideas exist inside of you, but how many of them you can observe before being agitated.

When you hear about observation of thoughts, remember that if self-awareness is the goal, the true way to obtain it is by allowing the thoughts that are your own to appear without being affected by the assumptions of others. What matters then is not how many opinions exist inside of you, but how many of them you can accept before being afraid.

When you hear about acceptance of thoughts, remember that if presence is the goal, the true way to experience it is by allowing your senses to determine your thoughts without moving away from what you actually experience. What matters then is not how many theories exist inside of you, but how many of them you can support before being ashamed.

For every breath that you notice taking, utilize the next two to return to your body, which happens to be here, now. For people who have almost lost touch with our surroundings, our understanding of reality and realism is overrated. Go on then, meditate.
Or simply breathe calmly and return to your body.
Exist in the moment

-anywhere between a second and life.
